Strawberry Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 C. butter, softened
  • 3 C. granulated sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Almond Extract
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 3 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 C. milk
  • 1 C. chopped strawberries

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 275° F.
  2. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, blending well. Add extracts and stir until combined. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and mix until well combined. Fold in strawberries.
  3. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake for 2 hours.
