Pumpkin-Waffles-Web

This recipe works well for belgian waffles.
May top finished waffles with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg, or use regular syrup or maple syrup.

Ingredients

1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
4 large eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/4 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1 cup prepared pumpkin (canned)
1 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Soda
6 tbsp melted butter

Directions

In a medium bowl combine flour, brown sugar, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, soda and spices. In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, buttermilk, pumpkin and butter. Beat until smooth. Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until combined. Follow manufacturer’s directions for cooking in waffle iron. Always preheat iron, and spray with cooking spray or oil.
