1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
5 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
In a small bowl, combine vegetable oil, eggs and sugar; blend well. Add milk and stir until combined. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients. Gradually add the liquid ingredient mixture and stir well. Roll 1/2-inch thick on a floured surface, adding more flour if necessary. Cut into desired shapes and fry on both sides in deep fat (heated 360° to 370° F.) until brown and cooked. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve plain or dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon-sugar mixture.
