Deep, dark, light textured and very chocolatey. Not too sweet, perfect for swirling with dulce de leche. Add a scoop of ice cream for total decadence.

Ingredients

2 eggs
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
4 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
2/3 cup Clabber Girl Corn Starch
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Soda
1/4 tsp salt
12 tbsp butter, unsalted and room temperature
1 1/3 cups sugar

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Butter and flour a 9-inch spring form pan. Sift together the flour, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time until smooth, then add melted chocolate and vanilla. Add the sifted flour mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk in 2 parts, beginning and ending with the flour. Pour into the prepared pan, smooth the batter and bake in the middle of the oven. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the center feels firm to the touch. Cool, release from pan, spread with dulce de leche and serve.
