1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Soda
1/2 C. granulated sugar
1/4 C. cocoa powder
16 Tbsp. (cold and cut into bits) unsalted butter
3 oz. mini marshmallows
4 C. all-purpose flour
1 3/4 C. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1 C. melted semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. salt
powdered sugar (for garnish)
Preheat oven to 400° F. Grease a baking sheet, then set aside.
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, sugar and cocoa. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add mini marshmallows and toss to coat. Stir in the buttermilk and melted chocolate until a dough begins to form. Lightly mix the dough until it holds together.
Transfer the mixture to a floured surface and roll out until 3/4-inch thick. Cut the dough into 24 rectangles, 1/2×2-inches in size, then place on baking sheet.
Bake at 400° F. for 11-14 minutes. Garnish with a light dusting of powdered sugar.
