These muffins are sweet on their own and can be topped with a 1:4 cinnamon-sugar mixture for added sweetness and texture on top.

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk

Directions

Heat oven to 350 F. Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper liners. Combine flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder and salt together in a large bowl; set aside. In a separate bowl; beat together butter and sugar, add eggs, vanilla and milk. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Be sure not to over-beat the mixture. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups. Bake 25-30 minutes or toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center.
