1 cup sugar
3 tbsp Clabber Girl Corn Starch
2 oz squares unsweetened chocolate, grated
dash of salt
1 cup boiling water
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
In a saucepan, mix sugar and corn starch. Add chocolate and salt. Add boiling water; cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat, blend in butter and vanilla. Cool slightly. Spread on cake while warm. From the Clabber Girl Recipe Book, “RECIPES TO WARM THE HEART”
