3/4 C. butter or margarine
1 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
1/2 C. granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
In a large bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed about 30 seconds or until softened. Add about half of the flour. Add sugar, egg yolk, vanilla and baking powder. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat or stir in remaining flour. Do not chill dough.
Pack dough into a cookie press. Force dough through press onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375° F. oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm but not browned. Transfer cookies to a wire rack; cool. Makes about 42.
