This apple steusel cake is made super easy by starting with the Clabber Girl Baking Mix.”
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp milk
2 cups sliced peeled apples (about 2 medium)
1 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups Clabber Girl Baking Mix
1 cup boiling water
Heat oven to 350 F. Mix Baking Mix and sugar in medium bowl. Stir in milk. Pour into ungreased 9x9x2-inch pan. Top with apples; sprinkle with lemon juice. Pour boiling water over apples. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Bake one hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
