Hot Chocolate Brownie Torte with Marbled Frosting – Blog post from Bakers Royale

Blogger Naomi at Bakers Royale took our Hot Chocolate Brownie Torte recipe for a spin. She added her own touch to the original recipe, the special marbled topping. The marbled topping makes this easy dessert look as elegant as it tastes.

    I can’t wait to make this for a party this weekend. But I have a couple of questions:
    1. Do I let it cool completely in the pan or do I take it out of the pan at some point?
    2. Do I really cut it in wedges before putting the marble topping on?
    3. If so, when can I take it out of the pan and put it on a nice dish?
    4. Should I line the cake pan with buttered parchment? If so, when do I removed the baked torte from the pan?

      Linda – let cool completely then if you are going to put topping on it do that first before cutting into wedges. As with any brownie recipe, this one needs to be cooled completely before cutting otherwise it will fall apart. You can line with buttered parchment if you find this method works best for you!
